Welcome to Salsa Madras, operated by Arun Pauer (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website https://www.salsamadras.com, participation in our dance classes, workshops, events, and use of any other services provided by Salsa Madras Chennai.
By accessing our website, registering for any class or event, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. General Information
Salsa Madras is a dance school and cultural organization based in Chennai, India, offering dance classes, workshops, private lessons, online tutorials, and social dance events specializing in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
These Terms apply to all users of our services, whether online or offline.
2. Class Registration & Enrollment

  • Class registration is confirmed only upon successful payment or explicit confirmation from Salsa Madras.

  • Students must provide accurate personal details during registration (name, contact number, email, etc.).

  • Salsa Madras reserves the right to deny or cancel registration if any provided information is found incorrect or incomplete.

  • Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted once the session begins.

3. Payments & Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

  • Payments can be made via secure online gateways (Razorpay, PayU, or Paytm) or in person at the studio.

  • Once paid, class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable, except under special circumstances (see Section 4).

  • Salsa Madras reserves the right to modify pricing, schedules, and offers at any time.

  • Any discounts or promotional offers are valid only within the announced period.

4. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Refunds and transfers will be handled as follows:
A. Regular Classes

  • Fees are non-refundable after the course starts.

  • If a student cannot attend due to medical reasons or relocation, the management may, at its discretion, offer:

    • A transfer to another batch or

    • A credit for future classes.
      A valid proof (e.g., medical certificate) may be required.

C. Events or Parties

  • Event entry tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

  • If an event is cancelled by the organizer, full refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.

5. Code of Conduct
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, all participants must:

  • Respect fellow dancers, instructors, and staff.

  • Follow instructions given during classes or events.

  • Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct.

Salsa Madras reserves the right to deny participation or remove any individual violating these rules without refund.
6. Safety & Liability

  • Participation in dance classes and events is at your own risk.

  • Salsa Madras and its instructors are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property occurring on the premises or during any event.

  • Please consult a physician before starting any physical activity if you have health concerns.

  • Students are responsible for their own belongings.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All choreography, course materials, videos, logos, music arrangements, and branding are the intellectual property of Salsa Madras or Arun Pauer.

  • Reproduction, sharing, or use of our materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.

  • Any video recordings during classes or events require prior consent from the instructor or management.

8. Photography & Media Consent
By attending any class, workshop, or event organized by Salsa Madras, you agree that photos or videos taken may be used for promotional and marketing purposes (website, social media, or print).
If you wish not to appear in such media, please inform the instructor in advance.
9. Online Tutorials & Digital Content

  • Access to online tutorials or digital content is personal and non-transferable.

  • Sharing or reselling login credentials or downloadable materials is strictly prohibited.

  • Salsa Madras reserves the right to revoke access in case of misuse or violation.

10. Force Majeure
Salsa Madras shall not be held liable for non-performance of obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
In such cases, classes or events may be rescheduled or moved online without refunds.
11. Changes to Schedule or Instructors
We reserve the right to:

  • Change class schedules or venues due to unforeseen reasons.

  • Substitute instructors when necessary.
    Any such changes will be communicated via email, WhatsApp, or the official Salsa Madras social media channels.

12. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal information is handled as per our Privacy Policy.
By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as outlined there.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Any disputes shall be resolved amicably where possible, or legally if necessary.
